I deducted a star because the refrigerator didn’t work. There was also a long wait every time you went to the front desk. BUT having said that I enjoyed the courtyard and the front desk was always nice and accommodating.

Terrible communication. We called twice the day of check-in to see if early check-in was available. Once at 8am and the person on the phone said, “we don’t have very many check-outs so it should be fine but call after 11am to double check.” We called again at 2:30pm and confirmed “so we can come right now?” and was told “Yes, come right now. We have a room ready,” and still ended up having to wait until 4pm. Nowhere does it state that the check-in desk is at a completely different address than where we stayed. No clue how to access where any of the pools were. Parking lot was half taken up by a dumpster, little to no room to maneuver when there are multiple people parked there. Our room was right next to the window facing the road so noise was inevitable. However, incredibly close to the beach. Fairly walkable area. The staff wasn’t mean or anything, but the poor communication wasn’t great. The room was more rundown than the pictures made it seem. Our door barely closed because it looked like someone kicked it in or something. Bathroom didn’t have a fan, so condensation kept everything damp. TV was super far away from the bed, so we didn’t use it. Amenities were fine. No conditioner or hand soap. To me, this is more of a 1-2 night as needed, bare minimum place.

The line to checkin was not long but the process had me waiting for almost and hour. The pictures from online looks nothing like any view you would get from any room there nor did my room resemble the pictures posted. It was quiet in the area. The bed squeaked whenever you sat on it and the pint was peeling in the bathroom.

Overpriced, rundown, unclean, dishes not provided, have to cross a 4 lane highway to the office. Breakfast was terrible, and there was no room for anyone to sit. No hot water for tea or oatmeal. We got one roll of toilet paper for 2 people for a 2 night stay. The location is good and the beds were comfortable but that's it.

On the site once booked it say check in time was 11-4 but when we arrived we were told that we had to check in after 4, parking per day should definitely be included with the stay if your staying on the property I see not point in that. Room service came into our room on the second day collected towels and rags that we did not use they ended up taking our personal rags and towels and did not touch anything else in the room. Was told by the manager that the room service comes in on the 3rd day of the stay to clean and it was the 2nd and even when they did come they didn’t do anything but take the towels and rags. No trash was dumped, no beds made back up, not even the floor being swept or mopped. Room should definitely have utensils inside the room instead of having to go to the office to ask for it. That defeats the purpose of having a microwave, stove and cabinets. Overall the stay was good but far as the service and amenities for the room it was not that good at all.

The rooms you reserve at this hotel are not the rules you see on the picture for advertisement they also pacifically state in details what they pacifically offer at these hotels, and upon checking in none of these things that they advertise they have at this hotel it took the courtesy of Expedia to try to justify And compensate for the most. Worst experience me and my family had been at this hotel. They didn’t even want to give me a refund for either of the nights. That’s a hotel that basically needs the money because they move their rooms or not what they advertise at all my usual living this is the worst Hotel I ever been in my whole life and I do not recommend going to this hotel.

Property is old, owner did superficial repairs and decorations. Housekeeping is every 3 days. Including clean towels. There was an eviction notice on our door and no in room door locks. This property is 1 block to the block to the beach, has 5 pools in neighboring properties. Close to boardwalk, shops and restaurants. Breakfast is provided basic but fine. Base pricing is good but parking is extra.

Seems like the property is being renovated, outside seems very old but when you get inside the price is worth it. There was a hidden fee of $100 deposit plus a $19 parking fee per day when we got there. We understand the place is under renovation but pest control would be nice. There were a cockroach inside of the toilet boil (big roach) which was disgusting. We loved the fact that the beach was a few steps away from us and we had access to so many bars and restaurants. I would come back here maybe after it’s completely renovated.

The Coastal Sunset was very sketchy. Nobody advised us the office was across the street, one block down. Taxi dropped us off at the address given. Took us aprox 20 minutes to figure out where the office was. My husband and I had to cross 4-lane highway with 5 pcs of luggage and then back again. No one to help whatsoever. When we unlocked our door, it was apparent the door had been jimmyed several times. Our 1 bed apartment didn't look anything like the picture. If you like privacy in your room, well this is not the place for you. There was a sheer curtain that covered the entire width of the window in the bedroom area. The window coverings consisted of 1 or 2 panels of room darkening shades that did not cover the entire width of the window. To make the privacy issue even worse, we were on the main floor. Wifi was unavailable across the street where we were. Tv operated by wifi therefore no tv, no communication with family unless I went to the breakfast building which was 3 blocks away. Speaking of breakfast, what a joke; continental at best!! Room floors were greasy. Had a shower, walked over to the bed, wiped my feet with a towel because I felt they were dirty and the towel was very dirty. Its not because we walked in the room with dirty shoes; we wear orthotic footwear inside so we always changed footwear upon return to the room. What is the sense of having a kitchen with a fride, stove, microwave...if there isn't a single pot, pan, spoon, plate or cup. I could go on.....

These properties looked to have been recently renovated but many areas are problematic. No counter space in the bathroom, they installed a pedestal sink instead of a vanity with somewhere to put your cosmetics. Shower is the same way, not even a place to set your soap. In spite of the fact that they charged for a "parking pass" 2 of the 3 nights I had to park in public parking areas and hope I didn't get ticketed.

I reserved this studio room in n a hurry. I saw pictures and felt that it was less than average property, but couldn’t cancel as it is non refundable. I went to the location but saw the place from outside and decided not even to check in. I would imagine the room is as bad as the building. I decided to sleep in another decent place.
