Let me start by stating overall- great stay, and worth the money spent.That said- the condo is mostly carpet and not great condition and I don’t even want to know how much yuck is hiding in the carpet. I will say at night my allegories were horrible, could have very well been the dander and what not hiding in the carpet. Aside from that the property could use some very cheap minor updates. The trash can and toilet paper holder had rust. The throw pillows were stained, and did not look very clean and blinds and some of the walls had kids art work/scribbles all over them.I HIGHLY recommended bring your own pillows and blanks. Also, bring some toilet paper. We were provided two rolls for a week, for a family of 4. I had to go buy some, left the extra in the laundry closet.The laundry room- it was GREAT! Both W&D were very clean. We were able to wash bathing suits & towels. Now for my biggest issue- the thermostat was pre set and kept reverting back to 82 degrees!!!! I woke up 4/5 nights sweating and having to reset the air to 70/72. Also coming back from the beach or pool and the condo back to 78 degrees was not fun. I did see another review stating this and hoping the property management would have made this easy correction but did not. The condo was on the second floor and right next to the pool and could be loud.Property was nice with baytown wharf having many options. but the condo was a bit far from the beachesAgain, overall good spot. Very roomy and comfortable

Only thing I didn’t much was that there was not much utensils in the kitchen. They only had 4 spoons 2 forks and three steak knives. I was ready to be cooking bc that’s why we rented a property with a stove but it wasn’t too convenient to do so with not much cooking stuff in the house. We also had to go get extra toilet paper and paper towels bc they only gave us two and 1 roll for a six day stay of four people. Other than that we always have a great time in Sandestin.

We liked that the property was right next to the pool and a 6 minute walk to Baytown Wharf. This place is very used though. The carpet is worn/ dirty and there is a lot of minor damage to the place that needs some attention. Make sure tou document the already existing damage if you decide to rent this property.
