Beautiful And Cozy Bayfront Getaway at Port Isabel

The place is amazing and the host is awesome. I love the place!

This house was fantastic. I will say three things that were ...meh...but totally not effecting of the stay, we made it work.1) there wasnt much toilet paper when we arrived but we thought itd be enough...we were lacking on the last morning... we should have bought some. We couldnt find extra in any cabinets.2) kitchen had only huge spoons for cereal for the kids and lacked a few pans we would have appreciated 3) we struggled a bit with the code lock, but host was EXTREMELY helpful/kind/patient and we figured it our :)please look at those FEW things and realize - this was an amazing stay. My kids LOVED IT and wanted to "stay and live here?!"The neighbors were VERY friendly and helpful. Everything felt clean and comfortable. A 9.5/10 experience for sure! We absolutely loved it!

Great Location - short drive to South Padre Island and close to all amenities in Port Isabel. The small gated community felt safe to leave our bikes outside and felt quiet from the busy highway. We would’ve liked more/nicer kitchen equipment to have been supplied. And we had to go buy our own paper products needed for the 10 day stay. No blankets/bedding provided in 2nd bedroom. And master bed was not very comfortable But the house overall was pretty and bright.

I have been staying at places on VRBO for quite sometime now. I will say that the pictures on the listing are misleading. It was not at all what we expected. Everything is across the street and the pool area is not that great. They dont allow grilling or music or having drinks there. Also, the cleanliness of the unit we were staying in was not that great. We saw smashed mosquito in the shower curtain. We also found hair in the bedding that was not ours. I did enjoy how Edgar was very quick at replying to our request. He was good but it was mainly the misleading pictures and the cleanliness for us. Also we had trouble unlocking and locking the door with the code.
