This little hotel is located close to the North Gate entrance . No vehicles can enter so the hotel had arranged for a buggy to pick our luggages up and lead us there. Its just a 10 minutes walk downslope. On wet days it can get a little slippery due to the cobbled stones. Its located inside the Achient city but close enough to the main road. Its is situated in a little corner and very quiet at night for a good night rest. The staff is always a message away and they maily use Wechat as their mode of communication. Good to download the app first before going to China. Mainly use there as it gets translated efficiently. The room is the right size for the 2 of us. But the facilities are clean and modern.

Nothing that affected us. We loved the place. Will recommend it to anyone that likes the achitecture. Its very Quaint and lovely with rustic vibes.

Die Gastgeberin war äußerst zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und nett. Das Zimmer sowie die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt und sauber. Obwohl wir mitten in der belebten Altstadt waren, ist die Unterkunft eine Oase der Ruhe. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The hotel is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. There were so many considered details. We were surprised at how big our room was. As a family of 3 we had more than enough space. The owner and staff were wonderful! They sent a man with tricycle out to pick us up at the entrance of the old town so we didn't have to drag our luggage through the cobblestone streets. They were also helpful in booking us a driver for one of the days. My daughter was enamored by the hotel cat Mimi and wanted to spend all her time in the courtyard with her. We went with the Chinese style breakfast which was delicious traditional Yunnan rice noodle. We look forward to coming back again next time!
