Large airy apartment #927. Clean. Well equipped. Nice balcony and view of Chinatown although no seating provided. Bed and linens nice although a little soft for our taste, but comfortable. SMART TV. Lounge area comfortable. Didn’t need the the air con and was generally very pleasant. Early check-in was approved perhaps because there were some problems in our room. But it was very much appreciated as it was somewhere safe for our bags.

Upon (early) check-in we were told that there were issues in our room around a lack of water/water pressure and maintenance were busy working to fix it. Also WiFi was (temporarily) down in the building. The apartment has obviously had numerous aesthetic upgrades to make it appear more modern but essentially it’s an old apartment with old fixtures and fittings. This is not a problem and not especially a major negative. Both issues (water & WiFi) were fixed relatively quickly. Plenty of water pressure was evident afterwards. Ahead of our stay, the online check-in process is a good idea although I had three separate email and WhatsApp messages asking exactly the same questions which was slightly irritating. Then a further separate message questioning my credit card validity which was weird as I’d paid in full up front a week before. Initially upon arrival our stay felt a bit frantic due to all the messages but to be fair all was ok eventually. We actually had the building manager visit and apologise which was reassuring. I would say the only real negative was value for money. We paid £433 for three nights which I think even for Sydney was overpriced.

We had a great stay at this place. The room is a perfect size with a kitchenette. Staff were amazing and so responsive. On the last day we asked if there was somewhere to store our luggage as we had an afternoon flight and they gave us a complimentary late check out. The location is great very central walking distance to darling harbour, town hall, museum, art gallery and botanical gardens. Heaps of great food options around as well. Will definitely stay here again next time we are back in Sydney.

Great location, easy to walk everywhere you need to

Bed was a bit cheap although mattress was good. Little aircon unit makes some awful noises.

Convenient location, easy check in and the room was spacious.

Everything seemed janky. Water pressure in the kitchen was almost non existent, coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned since previous guest, light switches were missing buttons. Just felt a bit worn down and outdated. Could’ve been cleaner in general.
