Location was superb and was really looking forward to the cozy cottage feel. We spent a lot of time out of the cottage sight seeing and dinners in the evening given the fire situation so did not use all the facilities.
The gas fire was not working in the ingle nook fireplace. The management agent took a couple of hours to answer on the Sunday night and delivered an electric heater on the Monday. The response time for a non-emergency is up to seven days. We were advised by the management contact that the owner had been notified and a plumber would be instructed. One of the main reasons the cottage was chosen was for the fire.
