Great location. Great house.

The location was great. The house comfortably provided plenty of room for our family of six adults and babies. We had a chef provided by a local cooking school come in and prepare three dinners for us. She was terrific, but said she was going to talk to the owner about some suggestions to upgrade the kitchen. The house very much suited our needs. We had one handicapped person. So the bedroom on the ground floor was great for him and his family. The host were very nice and accommodating, but we had some difficulty communicating, probably because I’m not all that experience with WhatsApp. There was ample parking for a three cars, and the house is an easy walk into the world city. The upstairs Terrace was great. We would gather there at the end of the day to enjoy a drink with the beautiful view.

Great location, but unsure if I would recommend it

The location was close to the old town. The kitchen had good utilities. Good size of the house for 8 friends. 4 (3 working) bathrooms and one separate toilet. Key code, so we could split and all come in the house.

The first night was awful as the alarm and the electricity went off, but they got an electrician the next morning. Two of the bathrooms also had water leakage on the floor. He fixed one toilet, but the downstairs one he could not fix as the water came through the ceiling from bathrooms upstairs. The basement was mouldy and most of us would not sleep down there. In reality there is only 5 bedrooms as one upstairs is without doors, and the living room in the basement is also considered as bedroom. There was a smell in the whole house, maybe it had been closed for a while? But we had all the windows we could open. The aircondition didn't properly work, the bedrooms at the top floor would be very hot in the summer and just windows in the ceiling that didn't open properly. There were also trafic noise from the street in the night. The wifi worked poorly. The outdoor place was dirty, probarly from a storm the night before, but it didnt look very cozy and inviting. The host said he would charge us 50 EURO because he had to meet us after business hours, otherwise we had to pick up the keys 5 km away. I didn't see any information about this when we booked. So far, he has not charged us, and that's good.

Very spacious, great position. Lovely terrace. Very helpful host.

Some of the showers and sinks didn’t drain well. Upstairs bedrooms were very hot and the air conditioning didn’t seem to function strongly enough.

Ottima villa per una vacanza con gruppo di amici

La casa è molto bella, con ampi spazi a disposizione degli ospiti. La cucina è fornita dei principali accessori, stoviglie e pentole per cucinare per 10 persone. E' comodissima per visitare a piedi il centro di Lucca ed ha anche a pochi possi un supermercato.

La casa ha arredamenti di buon livello ma a mio avviso inizia ad avere bisogno di qualche manutenzione in più.
