The property was brilliant, and we really enjoyed the location! The views were absolutely incredible, the property is central location of the town and beaches, whilst still feeling relaxed. The beds were comfortable with bright white, clean bedding, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the sofas were great to relax on after a day on the beach. We really enjoyed our morning coffee watching the waves, whilst the kids used the binoculars to spy on Castle Rock. Overall, a wonderful break!

There were a couple of things that we felt let the apartment down. We feel it needs a real deep clean, the windows have black dirt on them, the skirting boards are dusty/dirty, the bath panel isn't fitted properly, and the toilet seat needs bleaching or replacing. One of the other main factors is the condensation due to the old single-glazed windows (which I'm guessing are listed, so cannot be double-glazed). The apartment would really benefit from a dehumidifier in the colder months - the windows we're nearly always wet from the inside, hindering our view, so much so that we had to use the heating, opening windows and a hair dryer to clear them.

The position of the property over looking the harbour and beach were outstanding.

The windows are very large with a window seat. It appears that the windows are single glazed with no panels so would be very easy for children to fall through them onto railings below. I am really surprised there are no safety measures in place for this. I personally wouldn’t take young children there who may play fight on the window seat.
