The Whimsical Chalet, a unique 3-bedroom private home on 20 acres of Vermont forest, is a haven for nature lovers. It's the perfect year-round getaway with ample space for sleeping and entertaining indoors and outdoors. During summer and fall, explore the numerous hiking trails nearby. Don't miss the Crowley Cheese Factory, a 7-minute walk up the road, the oldest cheese factory in America and now a national historic site. Belmont, a historical town, is just a 10-minute drive away. For a refreshing summer dip, head to the local waterfall and swimming hole, Butternut Fall, just 10 minutes from the Chalet. It s a hidden gem worth discovering.
The Whimsical Chalet is a nature lover's paradise and a convenient base for exploring the area. It is located just 10 minutes from the Okemo ski area and offers year-round fun. Snowmobile access is readily available. For more skiing adventures, Killington, Magic Mountain, and Stratton are all within a 30-45-minute drive.
The Chalet is a cozy retreat, beautifully decorated and equipped with high-speed fiber optic internet to keep you connected. The open kitchen, dining area, and living room with a large fireplace and slider doors leading to a deck are perfect for relaxing and entertaining. We understand that pets are part of the family, so we allow them (a maximum of two) but request that they be in a crate if left unattended in the Chalet to reduce the possibility of pet damage. Please note that a vehicle that can handle winter conditions is highly recommended. The roads around the property are plowed and sanded regularly for your safety and convenience.
