Danube Villa with swimming pool

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Place for a Family Celebration and an Incredibly Hospitable Host! We chose Danube Villa to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Our stay began with an incredibly warm welcome. Our host, Dragan, greeted us with a large loaf of delicious homemade bread and outstanding homemade rakija. Serbian hospitality at its very best! Dragan himself deserves a special mention. He is a fascinating person and a passionate traveler who has visited more than 50 countries around the world. The house is filled with photographs from his journeys, and hearing the stories behind them was a wonderful experience in itself. We celebrated the birthday with four families, including children, although only two families stayed overnight, as the others live nearby in Novi Sad. There was plenty of space for everyone! The property is fully fenced and wonderfully private, with a beautiful green garden, mature trees, and cozy outdoor seating areas. The children could run around and play freely while the adults relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company. Two things deserve special praise: the swimming pool and the fantastic barbecue area! We enjoyed swimming in the evening and started the following morning with another refreshing dip. The barbecue area is particularly impressive — a beautiful stone-built outdoor fireplace with a chimney, fully equipped with everything needed for cooking over an open fire. Dragan had even provided charcoal! We spent the entire evening and part of the night grilling meat, fish, and other delicious food. After using the charcoal provided, we happily left some of our own for the next guests — hopefully, this little tradition will continue! The house itself is clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The bedrooms have everything you need, including bed linen, and the kitchen has more than enough dishes, cookware, and utensils, even for a large gathering.

Уютная атмосфера, удобное расположение, всего 10 минут на такси из центра Нови Сада. Река очень близко, мы ходили гулять. Чудесные хозяева, очень приветливые и предупредительные! На вилле есть ВООБЩЕ ВСЁ! :) Тостер, кофемашина, набор пакетированных чайчиков ("потому что вы русы их любите!") Даже кальян ))) Но у нас не было углей, поэтому мы его не курили :) Хозяева приготовили КАРАВАЙ с солью, пятилетнюю домачу шливовицу, фрукты. Сам дом невероятно с историей, прямо живой. Проигрыватель пластинок с чудеснейшей коллекцией рока 60- 70-х годов (Битлы, Арета Франклин, Криденс, чего там только нет). И не только рок есть, всякая другая классная музыка. Дом теплый очень, на ночь пришлось открыть окно нараспашку (декабрь месяц!) Камин очень качественный, все для его розжига есть, горит супер, дров много очень, все аккуратно. Вся посуда есть. На улице супер антуражный роштиль.

It's a very beautiful place with a perfect location and convenient access from Novi Sad. The owners are very caring and hospitable. There are thoughtful areas - the BBQ area has a huge, beautiful tree that blocks the sun, and it has all the necessary cooking supplies and plenty of places to relax. Unfortunately, the house does not have air conditioning, but there is a wonderful pool to cool off in. Both kids and adults enjoyed it. The well-maintained garden has lots of flowers and greenery. It's a secluded, quiet place for families. Inside the house, there are many souvenirs from different countries and nice family photos. Everything is arranged in such a way that it feels like home.
