The wooden house was cozy, picturesque and clean. Small outdoor lawn and balcony were an added advantage. Host was helpful with food requirements. Good location as it is in close vicinity to Dolphin Nose point and Altaf's Cafe
The location was accessible after climbing 78 steep steps from the main road. Parking space for the car, though reserved, was always blocked and every time other owners were requested to make space. Homestay should be provided with drinking water, tea bags and basic toiletries like liquid soap, a set of fresh towels, slippers etc.

The views were fantastic from the wooden cabin. The host Prabhu was gracious and was very helpful. Home cooked South Indian menu though simple was very good. Prabhu's mom even gave medicinal tea/toast when we had a health issue due to some outside food when travelling the valley during day hours.
The location though fantastic goes via some very narrow roads for the last 2-3km starting from Lake area. You need to have experience navigating steep portions of ghats or take help here. There is also a series of steps to be climbed which could be difficult for elderly. If this can be managed then you can have a great time
