Cooinda Holiday Village House

As advertised, big property. Great location. Excellent communication from the property manager, quick to response and helpful.

Lots of millipedes and spiders/webs, specially old dead ones indicating the cleaning wasn’t as good as we hoped. Toilet rolls were minimum, should be calculated as per number of guests. It’s not a criticism of the property, but the rooms can be really cold given no heating.

The location was absolutely beautiful, the home was stunning and getting cozy next to the fire place at night was incredible!

The key safe was conveniently located next to the entrance door, making check-in easy. The house was spacious, which we really enjoyed, especially the large open-plan living area.

The cleanliness was a major deterrent. While the beds were clean, the bathrooms and especially the kitchen needed a thorough deep clean. The kitchen cabinets were particularly dirty, and there was hair everywhere throughout the house. Nothing in the kitchen could be used without first being washed. Every piece of cutlery, every glass, and all pots and pans had to be cleaned before we felt comfortable using them. The carpets were beyond dirty, and the floors were sticky. When walking through the house, you could actually hear the dirt sticking to the soles of our house shoes. Finding hair in so many areas only added to the impression that the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. Overall, the level of cleanliness was well below what we would expect from holiday accommodation and significantly affected our stay.
