2 Bedroom Modern Cabana at The Atherton Near NAIA Airport Facing Manila Memorial

Location is very good, 15th floor with a good view (you see the garden and Alabang [miles away but at night magical lights]), close to Skyway (Sucat), you do not hear traffic, close to SM shoppingcenter, the building is beautiful, pool is good (but not deep, just 4.5 feet), gardens are kinda small but nice for a stroll, good basketball court and the roof terrace is amazing. In the apartment the balcony is super, you can sit there or have dinner with 4 adults without a problem, the sun comes to the balcony in morning, so after lunch there is no direct sun at the balcony. The Wi-Fi works very good, but there is NO Netflix. The aircon works good, the small bedroom only has a fan. The kitchen is well applied, yet there is only 1 burner (there is a microwave), so as we brought our own toaster, airfryer, eggboiler and water cooker (we did not see a water cooker in the appartment) we were ok. As requested by the host we did not use our BBQ (yes I standard travel with an electric BBQ) on the balcony, but there are 3 public BBQ spaces in the garden. Other request from the host was not to cook fish in the apartment, so we ordered fish via Grab. The apartment is suitable for 4 people max, the master bedroom is big enough for 2 people, the small bedroom has bunkbeds, so 4 elderly people would have difficulties finding a bed. Parking is available in the parking garage (500 pesos night) is super handy, the elevator from the parking goes directly to the apartment floor. All and all it is a great apartment, good location, worth every peso we paid! 100% recomended!

The interior of the apartment is a bit outdated, the walls could use a coat of paint (stains on the walls). The bed sheets could use an update, there were holes in the bed sheets! There is NO closet space, so you have to keep your clothes in your suitcase, that deffinatly is a minus point. The Wi-Fi works very good, but there is NO Netflix. The reception where you buy the ticket to swim (200 pesos per head per day) only accepts GCash, not handy for tourists who do not have GCash. We got some extra visitors (roaches) but the host acted within an hour and sent poison to kill the unwanted guests (and it worked).

The aesthetic of the whole place, home-comfy feel of the rooms, affordable price, easy transaction with the owner, and convenience in location and ammenities. Plus, they're very pet friendly!
