Bit of a steep walk down the path to the villa

Beautiful house, amazing pool, wonderful views. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive. We'll definitely come again.

La casa (son dos casas en realidad) es bonita, y el sitio muy curioso. Unas vistas muy buenas con varias terrazas amplias y piscina. Las camas están bien, los baños también, y una de las cocinas grande. Suficiente menaje y dos cocinas. Buena comunicación con dueño y persona encargada de dar las llaves.

No hay un salón donde quepan las 10 personas que se pueden alojar cómodamente. No hay parking privado, aunque se aparca cerca en la carretera. Una cocina no tiene microondas, y la otra no tiene lavavajillas, se pueden aprovechar una y otra.

It is a really nice house with wonderfull host which we did not have pleasure to meet, but he was really helpfull and answered all our questions and needs and made sure we had best possible stay.

One can not expect luxury in rural houses (or fincas) and neither did we, but the house is quite big and needs proper maintenance especially in large gardens surroding the property. House looks quite better in photos than in reality, and it also needs quite a bit of refurbishing. For example we had 3 different sets of chairs (10 in total) on main terrace with an sun umbrella fixed with duct tape. Pool during the evening hours is bit harder to access and lighting is not very good. While both kitchens were really nicely equipped (all kinds of seasoning, some coffe, sunflower oil and olive oil), all the plates, cutlery, and glasses were bit dusty and not properly cleaned so we washed it all before using. Also, worth of mention is that there is no private parking and access from the road to the house is quite hard (at the bottom of quite steep hill). Tourism is hard and having a large property and finca house asks for an owner who is there almost 24/7, and this house is proper example of what happens when you are not on top of all things. Having said all this, our stay was OK, even more so than OK, but for the price we payed and what is avilable nearby for same or similar price, there are better options to choose and spend your vacation.
