About this house rental
A fun and unique Deadwood experience awaits! Whether it`s an event weekend or a fun escape with friends, this cozy home on lower Main Street in Deadwood can`t be beat! While it`s quiet on lower Main, the exciting action of downtown Deadwood is at your fingertips just a block away. Deadwood is also a central location and tourist attractions such as Mt Rushmore (35 min), Custer State Park (1hr), and Devil`s Tower (45 min) can be accessed easily. Enjoy entertainment nightly without having to fuss with parking or late night driving. Bring the trucks and trailers because we are located directly across from the free city parking lot!
We don`t guarantee the Ritz, but we do guarantee a cozy, clean, & fun spot to chill in Deadwood with friends and family.
Please be advised, some guests may have to duck going upstairs. This home is not completely renovated and still maintains many historic aspects including windows and walls so please be aware that while it`s clean, cozy, and comfortable, it still has older home quirks like the short staircase, older windows, and closets and bedrooms that do not have doors (this is common in 1930`s homes). The main master bedroom and the double twin room upstairs have doors. The third bedroom does have a curtain for privacy.
The space:
Top floor: Bedroom 1 has 1 Full bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 Twin beds
Main floor: Master bedroom with Queen bed, Bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and utility room with washer and dryer.
The deck: seating and outdoor dining table, 2 swivel chairs. Overlooks the city parking lot, Deadwood Visitors Center, and lower Main.
Parking: 2 spots behind house. City parking is across the street for additional vehicles or trailers.
No pets.
No smoking indoors.
2 car maximum parked at the house (more parking at city lot across the street)
No underage drinking or parties
Guests are financially responsible for any damages that occur during their stay

The location is perfect for quick access to Deadwoods downtown area. The house was clean and ready to go on arrival. The only trouble we had was some confusion with parking for our trailer. We were able to get it figured out and it worked great but if the space we used for it this time is being used already, you may need to park your truck and trailer .5 miles away in city parking. We were hauling motorcycles. Overall, I’d stay again.
