Traditional Double Queen Room Hotel- 2 Pools, Near Beach/Boardwalk, No Pets

Great value!!!

So clean and such a nice location

The negatives: The building itself was sketchy. It had two pools, but only one was open. Both pools were in the parking lot! The building is motel style with dirty torn carpet in the hall and trash throughout the parking lot. The room was cheaply updated with two beds missing headboards, mattresses hanging over the side of the bed (kept rolling off the bed), only two bathroom hooks - more is needed for a family of four, (and that one bar has paint spilled on it), 1 ply toilet paper, broken handle on mini-refrigerator, and no beach towels provided (which is a staple for every other place I have stayed at that has a pool). Lastly, we could hear the person above us walking around. The positives: the location was near the boardwalk, amusement park, and restaurants (only about a 5 minute walk to each). Upon arrival our door was unlocked and the mini refrigerator handle broke off. We texted the owner immediately, who apologized that the door was left unlocked and told us that the handle should just be easily popped back on (which tells me this is not the first time it has broken), and offered to have maintenance come look at it if doesn’t work. (I was able to easily put the handle on so maintenance wasn’t needed.) The owners response time was very quick, kind, and professional. The mattress was comfortable and the AC worked well.
