Road closure update: highway US 2 near Skykomish is open in both directions from MP 50 to MP 64 (Stevens Pass Resort)! Chateau Baring is located about 7 miles west of Skykomish and was not affected by the recent flooding. Please contact Tammy if you have any questions.

Custom house on the Skykomish river just 20 minutes' drive to Stevens Pass Ski Resort! This custom house will accommodate 10-12 guests comfortably. Two master bedrooms on the main floor. Jack and Jill style for privacy.
Master bedroom number one has a queen size bed, fireplace, and full bathroom with a spa jacuzzi tub. Master bedroom number two has a king size bed, fireplace, and full bathroom with sauna.
Both masters’ have private decks that face the river.
There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor. Bedroom number three has a queen size bed and a futon and a smart TV.
Bedroom number four has a queen size bed and a futon.
The upstairs landing overlooks the living room and dining room below and also has a view of the great outdoors and the Skykomish river!
The open concept main floor has kitchen and dining room, great room with fireplace, and vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling windows facing the river. The main floor has a third half bathroom (powder room).
There is a door off the kitchen to the outside deck that wraps around the front of the house and looks out to the river. Enjoy beautiful views of the Skykomish river while enjoying your outdoor meals on the deck or at the picnic table next to the back yard firepit! We have installed a brand new hot tub on the deck just 50’ from the river and overlooking the park like setting and fire pit!
Chateau Baring guests will have much to explore as the area is home to beautiful hikes, river rafting, fishing, drive to Leavenworth, downhill and cross country skiing, restaurants and more.

We spent a long weekend skiing at Steven's Pass and this cabin was perfect for our trip! Tammy was very communicative as a host. The cabin is super cozy and has everything you need to be comfortable. Beds were super comfy! Only 30 mins to the ski resort. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you bring sleep masks because there are no curtains or blinds on the bedroom windows.

The host was super communicative, and everything was as described on VRBO. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and we cooked all meals at the house so it was nice having a well equipped kitchen.

The home is absolutely beautiful! We loved the constant background sound of the river outside, the cozy fireplaces, the sauna that was easily adjustable for our temp and steam preferences, and the hot tub outside with perfect views of the stars at night. Tammy was communicative and easily reachable! She responded very quickly to my messages. The kitchen was well stocked and had nearly everything we needed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the long weekend.
