Was unware of major building works underway across the road that started up early in the morning.

A great location across the road from Penrith station. A five minute walk to Westfield. Next door to cafés. Spacious apartment in a modern housing estate. Prompt reply messages on Booking.com One hour early check-in without additional fees.

1. Despite many poor guest reviews since last year, and many promises from the owner, the broken chairs are still there. There should have been 6 indoor chairs around the dining table. Only four remained - for 6 guests! The other two were put outside - one in broken pieces and the other unstable and unsafe. Photos attached. 2. A large hole in the wall behind the front door. Photo attached. 3. Curtain supports are missing. Therefore, part of the curtain is off its track. Photo attached. 4. A large scratch on the master bedroom door. 5. Broken pedal on bins. 6. Defective exhaust fan in guest bathroom - fan blades hitting one another, making an almighty noise. 7. A lot of dirt around - place needs a deep clean. I texted the defective photos as we checked in - no acknowledgement until after our departure ... promising to send someone out to 'fix it' the following day! This apartment is not rented to AUSTRALIAN standards.
