    We enjoyed our stay at the hotel although it is not beachfront, they have access going to the beach around 4-5 mins walk, transportation is also accessible. If you want to relax after a long day of fun it is the place to rest no noise from bars and restaurants.

    3-5 mins walk to the beach. For me goods even di beach front kase I dont want crowded arae dahil may kasama kami senior. Comfortable to stay. We can cook our food to the hotel so we saved money for food.

    The Grospe property itself is clean and for the most part, "as advertised." The staff is very nice and accomodating. We booked the two story villa and it was clean with a downstairs living are plus a room upstairs with a King size bed and two bunk beds. What you should know is that this property is located well off the street in a pretty dilapidated area. The walk from the street to the property is about 150 yards with literal shacks that people live in on your way to the property. It was night when we arrived, so we were extremely surprised to see tin roof shantys dotting our walk way to the street in the morning. No offense to the people that live there, but this was not conveyed to us in the description of the property. If you're ok with perceived poverty right outside the gate to your property, then maybe this is your place. Another thing is that it's quite loud. We heard e-trikes (tuk-tuks) all night and roosters and dogs as well. It is also not a "short walk" to the beach. It's a significant walk to the beach from the property and if you plan on walking back from dinner after a few drinks, be aware that the walk can be a bit treacherous with the sidewalk problems, etc. Based on a glowing review from two women on YouTube, we thought we had a winner--which if you can get past the other stuff, it is--just know what you're signing up for. I don't consider myself a "bougie" or high end, but again, if you can get past this stuff, the value is great. It was just not what we expected.
