This grand farmhouse and large Umbrian country estate has a history stretching back 300 years. Its sophisticated old world charms are set amid tranquil rolling hills. And before the younger generation start to moan let’s quickly mention the sauna, spa, cinema room, old stables that have been transformed into a huge play area, trampolines, table tennis, toys, private soccer field, forest and small lake that’s just waiting to be explored.

Our group stayed at Villa della Fonte for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is spacious, very well laid out with plenty of areas for sitting, entertaining or just relaxing - for teenagers and adults alike. The kitchen is kitted out perfectly for large groups and the outdoor dining table overlooking the garden is a dream come true. The pool is large and the pool lounging area is perfect for an evening al fresco drink. The location is secluded and quiet, which suited us very well. There are many surrounding hilltop villages to walk around in and dine in. We loved staying at Villa Della Fonte and will return.
