About this house rental
A Standing Ovation, is what you’ll receive from your group as they are greeted with stunning views of Lake Belton from the sunlit living room. Then waltz out to the Breathtaking Balcony to feel the lake breeze and tranquility. Gathering for unforgettable sunsets and memories will be a given, maybe you should go for an extra day. “Go jump in the lake,” on those warmer days. Located on a peninsula of Lake Belton, this is a beautiful area well sought after for it`s lake views, majestic oak trees, and Texas Hill Country nature. The area offers boat ramps, parks, enjoyable walkability, natural hiking, and lake access.
Private driveway parking, with room for a boat or multiple vehicles.

Late Check Outs if undisclosed or not agreed upon will be assed a fee on a 1/2 hour basis of $50. Thus 1 hour will yield a $100 fee.

The location of this stay was exactly what we were looking for- quiet and peaceful but with plenty to keep us entertained. We especially enjoyed the access to a golf cart, the nearby playground, and the beautiful views. We travelled here with our 2.5yo and 2mo baby. The layout of the home was not ideal for having kids of this age but would be great for slightly older kiddos with the bunk room, etc. The split level made us further from our 2.5yo than we’d prefer but we made it work so we weren’t waking him while tending to the baby at night. Also, as the home is pet friendly, it was not the cleanest. I didn’t feel comfortable putting my baby on the floor with the dirt and dog hair. It did not seem to have been vacuumed when we arrived but Skip was very responsive and allowed us access to the vacuum to use while we were there, which was helpful since we stayed for 2 full weeks. The antique decor with nods to the area was a fun touch, but again not super toddler friendly, something I had not considered before booking. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others traveling without kids or those with kids a little older than ours.

We lived on lake Belton for 5 years and miss it so this trip was to satisfy a longing. Had a little difficulty finding the house at night but once there were pleased with the home. Appreciate Skip giving us a little extra time.
