About this apartment rental
Comfortable ground floor 1-bedroom condo in a peaceful location close to Canyon lodge and the Village. Includes a fully equipped kitchen, coffee/tea, Wifi, 55" TV with Chromecast, wood burning fireplace, and access to the pool (summer) and hot tub year round (hot tub occasionally closed for maintenance). Town shuttle stop to Lake Mary Basin and Village located just outside the complex.
The space
Located in the well-maintained Discovery 4 complex, this corner ground floor unit has lots of light and is in a great location to enjoy the best that Mammoth has to offer. Lake Mary basin is just 2 miles up the road by car, paved walk/bike path, or free town shuttle.
Guest access
You'll have access to the community pool, hot tub, game room, and bbq areas with propane grills that are right behind the condo. Free parking is available in any open spot in the complex. Please use the parking permits provided and return them when finished.
A note on cleaning: We want to make sure your stay is as safe as possible. After each guest the unit is thoroughly and professionally cleaned and all linens are changed. All commonly touched surfaces (doorknobs, thermostats, remotes, handles, etc) are disinfected with alcohol based disinfectants after the standard cleaning. Hand soap is available.
A note on living in the mountains: In the summer, wildfire danger is extremely high and the power company can shut off electricity for public safety during red flag warnings. In winter it's always recommended to carry tire chains and an emergency kit in your car and to keep up to date with road closures and chain controls. Being in bear country, do not leave any food in your car or trash outside the condo.

This is a great little condo. Perfect for our ski trip. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to store our gear.
The only issue we had was with the key pad. It’s a little touchy.
The host was easy to communicate with. Super rad spot - would totally come back.
