About this cabin rental
Rustic riverfront cabin in the woods. Perfect base for a skiing/snowboarding adventure at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort or a trip to the Mount Rainier National Park. Enjoy the sound of flowing river from the hot tub.
Conveniently located an hour from the Seattle airport, 20 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park Sunrise entrance and Crystal Mountain. Walking distance to the nearest general store, tavern, coffee shop and gas station.
Quintessential cabin with fir floors and elements of cedar and pine in the walls.
The space
- River views from the deck and around the house. Riverside accessible with stairs.
- Modern salt water hot tub.
- Fast 40MB Wi-Fi Internet.
- 2 queen beds and 1 double bed with Egyptian cotton and organic cotton sheets.
- A large living area with a 56 inch TV. A sun room with 270 degrees outside view and a workspace setup.
- UHD TVs with DVD players in the living area and upstairs bedroom. Enjoy holidays with movies! Couple dozen movies/sitcoms DVDs provided.
- Cozy A-room for making memories. Read a book or sip on a cup of tea enjoying the river view. Meditation pillows are provided.
- Well equipped kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine, coffee and tea bags, electric kettle, microwave, waffle maker, instant pot, blender.
- Free standing propane fireplace to keep you cozy. Old school free standing wood stove is also available for experienced guests.
- Extra remote controlled portable heaters provided in addition.
- Outdoor propane BBQ.
- Outdoor seating on the deck with gas fire pit.
- Free parking for up to 2 cars, One car can be parked in the covered carport. A second car can be parked between the wood shed and the the twin trees.

Security Cameras: There are 2 security cameras installed on the property's exterior. One camera is located at the main entrance door and another one overlooking the carport.
Private road speed limit : Please adhere to the posted speed limit of 5-8 MPH.
Cell service: We are close to wilderness and therefore not all carriers have service in the area. To my knowledge, Verizon and ATT have service here.
Stair case: Narrow stairs may be difficult for those with mobility issues. See pictures of the stairs.

The Riverfront Cabin was in an excellent location for accessing the Mount Rainier Sunrise entrance as well as nearby stores and a few restaurants. We didn't spend much time at the cabin as we were out and about exploring, but when we did, we appreciated the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and salt water hot tub for soaking after our long hikes. The deck overlooking the river is a lovely and peaceful outdoor space. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishware and cookware (and coffee!), which made preparing meals a breeze. One note: Two of three bedrooms are located upstairs and require navigating down a narrow set of stairs, which could be tricky if you have limited mobility (or large suitcases!). Our host provided excellent instructions for directions, accessing the cabin, and check-in/check-out details. Additionally, our host's response time to questions was almost immediate. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Cool cabin. Great commute to Crystal Mountain. Kids had a blast. Nice and quiet with only the sound of the river heard at night.

For those looking for more than a bed and a shower between mountain days, but rather a place of refuge and relaxation, this property is your spot. With it's cozy areas inside, and its retreat into nature areas outside, this cabin has a vibe that makes you want to stay enjoy it. The place calls to and is so welcoming to those in a group that may not have a snow mountian day in them to stay behind for a relaxing day of nature, a book, and a home cooked meal in the open kitchen The kitchen was by far the most well-stocked-with-essentails cabin kitchen I've ever had the pleasure of encountering, stocking everything one could want for homecooked meals in such a getaway. Provided are great cookware, decent cutlery, cutting boards, stove, grill, and even an Insta-Pot which can be used as a slow cooker. Exploring the other areas cabin quickly reveals that the lengths and troubles through which the host has gone to make the kitchen so great have been applied to everywhere else. The hosts have seriously almost thought of everything you may need, leaving you free to relax. The very attentive hosts quickly respond to make sure everything is as you wish, leaving you free to enjoy your stay.Highly recommend.
