Private Modern Villa in Lush Mayan Jungle

We really enjoyed our stay in Tulum. The house and host are both 5 star worthy. Christina offered great insights and recommendations for food, things to do, and how to get around. She was always quick to respond and very helpful. We had a small issue with the safe and it was taken care of before we returned from our excursion. The house itself is as listed and very nice. It has updated amenities and plenty of space for a decent size group. The kitchen had the essentials and a decent range of spices. The pool is great with a nice lounging section and area that is standing depth. The roof deck was lovely in the evening and morning with a great breeze. Great air-conditioning and WIFI was consistent. The only drawback for us was the actual location versus the listed location. The listing said and showed city center with specification to multiple things nearby including restaurants within 3 minutes walk (which were close to our dive shop). This is not the case - the house is just over a 10 minute drive to the nearest restaurant or store. This can mean minor changes and additional charges for pickup and excursions. That being said, the location was fairly peaceful with great jungle vibes. There is a cluster of houses so there is a chance for noise, but there is a 11PM quiet time and as mentioned host is great. It is a perfect location for relaxing away from it all as long as you know that is what you are booking.

Perfect spot to host a group of people. There were 4 of us total for a birthday celebration. House was clean, a/c worked well to cool the rooms down, and we felt safe with it being a gated property with security cameras. Would definitely stay here again!
