Mountains - Romantic, Hot Tub, Campfire, Red

Such a beautiful view! Cute cottages. Beautiful view from mountain top over the valley. We watched the sunrise colors from the hot tub our first morning. The next morning was too cloudy to watch the sunrise, but the clouds burned off later in the morning and the view was beautiful. The driveway is a bit rough and gravely, so it might be tough in a sports car. Our Buick Enclave AWD did fine. Be careful, the road is narrow. Our cabin number was attached to the deck and the cabin color indicated the roof color. It’s a little challenging to find unless you know where to look Overall, this is a cute little cabin with modern conveniences, well maintained, well stocked. We will definitely return here next time we are in the area.

Great place to stay and an amazing host!

I loved my visit to Candee Mountain Resort. The host Kevin was incredibly welcoming, and I loved having a space to relax with great views, comfortable lodgings and impeccable cleanliness. If you are looking for a hideaway that is 30 minutes from the best hikes in North Carolina and Tennessee then you have found the right place! It hit every box for a relaxing, and enjoyable time while also being close to so many great hikes, good food and is far enough off the beaten path that you will not be disturbed.

This is a great getaway location! The lodge is modern, clean, well appointed, and has a fantastic view. The jacuzzi is super clean and roomy, and the fire pit out back is underrated. I’m definitely going to return. Five stars!
