the location & the views are amazing.
this rental is sub par, at best. it clearly is a very used rental. the carpet was gross; shutters broken; most screens were missing completely; many items rusted; furniture very worn; and it felt very overpriced for what it was. while there, a tub diverter didn’t work so AvantStay sent someone to fix it “quickly”. 4 hours later (3p-7p) w/no water, finally done. AvantStay said they’d refund $450 for “inconvenience” - mind you the 4 day booking was $13k so this already felt like a double rub - then they said they’d refund refunded $300. hmmmm .. not sure how less $$ was warranted esp considering the house was old, worn & only semi - clean. wouldn’t book this house again and would like further consideration from the rental company on the loud & intrusive repair we requested to happen after we checked out since the house was lacking in quality & cleanliness
