Vatican Stairs Apartment

Great value for money, great location if planning to visit the Vatican, clean, exactly as advertised. A few minutes walk from the Metro makes it well connected to the rest of the city. There are some very good restaurant and cafes nearby.

Consider putting air conditioning unit in the living room. Maybe a washing machine as well - families traveling with kids might find it very useful or adult sweating a lot in the middle of July.

Lage zum Vatikan war top. Schöne Gegend, viele Restaurants. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Netter Gastgeber, hat alles einwandfrei geklappt.

There is a bit of traffic noise coming from outside, especially in the morning, however apartment is located in the quiet building in the side street.

We booked this apartment because our original apartment was cancelled. It was a quick decision because we were stuck at the airport with 2 children and were a little worried about what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment is large, in a great location, has a tiny balcony with a view of the Vatican Museums, which adds to the magical atmosphere. Since it has high ceilings and tiled floors, we were a little cold, but the owner was very kind, he responded immediately and turned on the heat for us and also provided thicker blankets if it gets warmer. The living room is beautifully furnished, the bedroom is comfortable. Access to the entrance and the apartment is via a code via an app, very practical. We had a wonderful time in the apartment. We definitely recommend it, everything is close, 2 metro stations, the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, supermarkets, a bakery and at the end of the street there is a local market.

Unfortunately the oven was not working, it was important for us because of cooking for the kids, but we managed. The beds in the second bedroom were quite uncomfortable for an adult, they were more for small children.
