That funny little half height stair up to the top landing confused my brain every time, and the road near by is quite busy

Lovely little cottage, well equipped, great location for Alton Towers (the reason for our visit), kind 'starter pack' of bread, milk,eggs and biscuits in kitchen on arrival.
The noise of the traffic from the main road was pretty loud. But this has no bearing on the accommodation itself which was very nice.

Good facilities, host left bread, butter, milk and eggs which was very nice.
Shower had poor flow and WiFi was slow, and kept dropping out.
