::Mauritius - Awesome Northern Apartment:: My wife & I stayed over for nine nights at this well appointed modern, clean, uncluttered two bedroom self catering apartment located on the first floor with reserved parking. The open plan fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances, the lounge with SMART TV and dining area with its six seat table are designed with ergonomics in mind leading to a cosy veranda. High ceilings and ample ventilation allays any claustrophobic feeling whilst the many glass paynes allows the flow of natural light to permeate throughout the apartment. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds, one with walk in cupboard, as well as effective AC’s, bedside switches and choice of lighting. Linen and towelling was sufficient. The shower area with loo and basin is unusually spacious with strong water pressure and ample volume hot water. The reliable uncapped Fibre WiFi (90 Mbps Download & 15 Mbps Upload) on 2.5G supported our four devices with ease and zero buffering. This well located quiet precinct has a few vacant plots scattered around and a few buildings with work in progress, overall looking like a very nice middle class development in the making. Spoilt for choice, one can within a few minutes drive, be anywhere in the north, whether it’s a beach for sunrise or sunset or water sports, large or small shopping centre, buffet or a la carte restaurant , health care clinic or hospital facility or main road you’re after, it’s all close by. The cherry on top is the efficient host – Ashley. From booking to check-in, stay over and check-out, Ashley was a pleasure to deal with, being friendly and contactable and replying swiftly to any guidance sought. Thank you Ashley.
