Atrium Apartments Aachen

Very nicely set up and decorated 1 bedroom flat (we stayed in apartment 3 on the ground floor). Despite being on a very busy main road in Aachen, the property is quiet, especially the bedroom, which is located at the back. The kitchen met our needs well as we always had breakfast and dinner in the flat. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the old town in Aachen, so it is very convenient if you are visiting as a tourist. There is a fairly large supermarket (REWE) less than 10 minutes walk away. I would imagine that the flat would also suit visiting academics who need to get to any of the nearby university sites around the city. Overall a great experience. Although we never met our hosts face to face, they were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we contacted them, which is always reassuring and much appreciated. Overall, highly recommended.

Small thing - a draining board for any plates and cutlery you choose to wash up by hand would have been useful. We ended up using the dishwasher more than we wanted to as doing the dishes by hand was a bit inconvenient without anywhere to stack the washed dishes by the sink.

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft ist liebevoll gestaltet und modern. Auch die Nähe in die Innenstadt ist super praktisch. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr herzlich!

Verassend rustige omgeving, op loopafstand van het centrum. Comfortabel bed en voldoende voorzieningen. Zeker een aanrader.

Jessica and Jannik were very responsive to any questions or help we needed! The location was also fairly close to a train station. We also really appreciated the two fans they provided, as our stay was in the middle of the summer.

There is no AC in the apartment and the windows in the living room led to a busy street, which made sleeping on the couch-bed very difficult. Note that it was quiet in the bedroom, so this is only a problem for anyone staying with 3 or more people.
