    I had a pleasant stay at Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well maintained. The location is excellent, with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it's a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu.

    The location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The room itself was a letdown — it was dirty and reeked of smoke that smelled like cigarette, clinging to the walls. The wooden floor tiles looked like they hadn’t seen a mop in ages, which added to the feeling of neglect. Honestly, if you’re staying here, be prepared to trade away cleanliness and comfort just to be close to the area.

    Housekeeping habitually failed to make up my rooms despite turning on the MakeUp Room light. Once is called accidental mistake. Twice is called habitually neglected responsibility. The pool water color is abit greenish. Not sure it’s natural or xxx?
