Mermaid Cove - Blue Bay

Excellent location, only about 100 m from the beach Very close to Blue Bay Marine Park and good snorkeling with turtles and colorful fish (Don’t expect lots of colorful, healthy coral though - much of the reef is unfortunately affected by coral bleaching) Clean and practical apartment Two bathrooms, very convenient for a family of four Nice balcony with sea view Quiet area overall

Balcony too small for four people to sit or eat together comfortably No washing machine in the apartment Planes pass overhead regularly, sometimes also at night; quite loud, although not too frequent No grocery shopping within walking distance Communication with the host could have been warmer and more responsive

Die Unterkunft hatte für uns eine super Lage - der direkte Zugang zum Strand war einfach super. Man konnte direkt im Riff eine Runde schnorcheln - die Unterwasserwelt war sehr vielfältig und schön - wir haben beispielsweise zwei Mal Schildkröten gesehen. Auch fühlte man sich durch die bewachte Wohnanlage und die zusätzliche Umzäunung des Grundstücks sehr sicher. Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet - vollständig bestückte Küche und auch der Rest der Wohnung ließ uns nichts vermissen. Eine große Shopping-Mall ist mit Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Die kleinen Supermärkte und Restaurants im Ort sind auch empfehlenswert. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und verlief ausschließlich digital.

Die Unterkunft war etwas hellhörig (damit meinen wir nicht die Flugzeuge) - sondern eher die Wasserspülungen/Abflüsse der anderen Wohnungen. Einige Dinge z.B. der Balkon war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was uns aber nicht sonderlich gestört hat.

Excellent séjour ! Tout était conforme à la description, logement propre, confortable et bien situé. La communication très facile. Je recommande sans hésitation. Merci encore 🙂

Seul petit point à noter : le bruit des avions, lié à la localisation, mais cela n’a rien à voir avec le propriétaire qui a été irréprochable.

Nonostante sia vicino all'aeroporto, il rumore non è fastidioso durante la notte; staff estremamente disponibile e premuroso sin dalla prenotazione; parcheggio interno; posizione vicinissima alla spiaggia

Pulizia non eseguita a dovere, per la quale l'host si è scusato molto ed è per questo che abbiamo dato la sufficienza; acqua calda che va e viene; bagni troppo piccoli e il soffitto è così basso che le persone alte non riescono a stare in piedi davanti allo specchio; aggiungeremmo lo stendino
