The Chroma Cottage

Very relaxing, lovely rooms and the cottage is gorgeous

Lots of stuff to entertain the children. The bottle of wine was the icing on the cake. Warm, cosy and pizza delivery on the door step.

Nothing at all apart from not being used to traffic noise but it was a Monday morning

Perfect location for a chill weekend away. Facilities are great and perfect location

Relatively Clean, a few board games for kids. Good area. Nice touch with the drinks available and ice.

Didn’t receive welcome message with pass code to get into the property Phoned the 2 contact numbers as internet was very poor in the area. One number didn’t answer the other did and said they’ll forward the welcome information via phone messaging but didn’t. The other number rung back after 15mins . Very pleasant on the phone , We asked for the WiFi password so that we could recieve the welcome note and was given the pass code for the key to entre after waiting with kids . Out side while we waiting we noticed dirty windows around the house and abandoned glass to the side of the buildings . We got in and it had a welcome bottle of wine, chocolate and some juice and ice in the fridge which was appreciated. The place was clean but had a musty smell through out. Once in the older kids wanted to play with the pool table etc. the pool table had damage to the sides of the table as well as mould on the cloth. The machine at first didn’t work as there was ball stuck in the table. We ended up freeing them buy putting the balls that did come out back down the pockets and after a few goes they came out and we found there was multiple golf balls stuck in the machine. We then noticed that some the chalk as if they were soaked in water and the lights above the table didn’t work. The older kids then wanted to use the hot tub but when we checked the tub was turned off and the temp was too cold. As owner of a hot tub ourselfs we knew we had to wait untill it came back up to temp which it took untill 9pm which the kids were not happy about. The darts also had damaged flights which came off as we played but luckily we brought our own spare set. After we used the hot tub, we used the shower to rinse off any chlorine from the hot tub and found the wetroom gully particularly block so it keep building a puddle off water. Then when goin to sleep the bedroom with double bed in the front of the propert was badly creaking.
