Chic & Fully-Equipped Apartment in Le Marais

The apartment was clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable

The entry does have a strong smell (but you can’t smell it inside the apartment)

It was air conditioned, which is the best in this weather. They also have all necessary things as dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, towels, etc. They also have elevator. Which is super comfortable when you travel with elderly parents. But keep in mind it’s small. But good that they still have it. Also, it’s not far from mane locations and 5-6 min walk till the metro. It’s safe, during the night, but it’s a bit noisy during the night but not drastically.

A bit smelly entrance and few things got old. But in general it was great.

Air conditioning and great location

The location was excellent. We liked being a little away from the tourist areas and we had lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. The apartment is close to the Westfield shopping centre and also a street dedicated to restaurants, gourmet food and cafes.

When we arrived there was a note on the outside of the front door (obviously placed by the owners of other apartments in the building) saying not to use the air conditioning at any time as it makes too much noise in the building. Luckily it wasn’t very hot during our stay. The toilet is super small, if you are a large person you find it difficult to fit through the door. Also, the bathroom was tiny so be prepared for that. Finally, the kitchen was good but many of the plates were chipped. I know this is relatively minor but when you are paying top dollar I would expect the plates (which are cheap to replace) to be new.
