Location, nice decor

Needs refurbishing, bit outdated. Chipped plates. Very small bathroom.

Wow, what a gorgeous place to stay after a day of wandering Paris! The location is in the heart of Le Marais and it’s so easy to walk everywhere. Lots of cafes, shops and a couple of supermarkets very close by. The apartment has a large living/dining area with wonderful big windows that open to overlook the street. Fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer which was extremely handy at the end of our stay.

The location was excellent. We liked being a little away from the tourist areas and we had lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. The apartment is close to the Westfield shopping centre and also a street dedicated to restaurants, gourmet food and cafes.

When we arrived there was a note on the outside of the front door (obviously placed by the owners of other apartments in the building) saying not to use the air conditioning at any time as it makes too much noise in the building. Luckily it wasn’t very hot during our stay. The toilet is super small, if you are a large person you find it difficult to fit through the door. Also, the bathroom was tiny so be prepared for that. Finally, the kitchen was good but many of the plates were chipped. I know this is relatively minor but when you are paying top dollar I would expect the plates (which are cheap to replace) to be new.
