Breakfast was delicious with a nice mix of local and continental dishes. The location was peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts were warm, attentive, and made us feel at home.
Honestly, nothing major stood out. I noticed there are a few negative reviews, but our experience was completely different—we only had a great time together.

Vintage Retreat 1970’s Homestay in Chikkamagaluru offers a peaceful, and very comfortable stay where we have a beautiful sit out area with the private estate surrounded.
We could also see a warm and attentive staff who go out of their way to make every stay comfortable and personal.
Rooms are very clean and made sure to have proper hygiene washrooms which was an add on to our stay.
Overall I would prefer coming back to this place as it has my whole heart.

The location is serene and surrounded by greenery, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The service was warm and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout. The rooms were well-kept with cozy beds that made for a restful night’s sleep. Facilities were thoughtfully provided, adding to the overall convenience. A truly refreshing place to relax and unwind amidst nature.

The view was absolutely beautiful, and I visited during a very good season which made the experience even better. This stay was referred to me by my friend, and I’m glad I chose it. The owner was very helpful and guided us really well throughout. From the viewpoint at the stay, the main peaks of the Western Ghats were so clearly visible that I felt as if I was sleeping in the lap of nature.
Before visiting, I went through some negative reviews and was a bit confused, but honestly, I couldn’t find any real issues here. It seems like nowadays people’s expectations have reached their peak.
