The villa is quite amazing. I have to say, it looks better than in the pictures. You have an amazing terrace all over the villa from which you can see the bay and the Vesuvio volcano. Among the nice things are also the pool, the jacuzzi, the ping pong table, and the billiard table. We really enjoyed it. The villa has basically everything that you need to live there. It has two coffee pots, which make an amazing coffee. The coffee is also there, and there is also tea. There was also basic kitchen stuff like balsamic vinegar and oil from olives, salt, pepper, and all the kitchen basic appliances to make by yourself a pasta, a breakfast, or a dinner. For the lunches, we were going outside. The villa is quite big, so it can very easily accommodate eight people. I was together with my parents-in-law, my wife, and my two kids. There is one bedroom for the kids, which has a double-decker bed. We also liked the fact that this terrace is around the whole villa, so you can sit from one side and also sit from the other side. Depending on whether you like the sun or don't like the sun, some parts of the terrace have a roof, so in case of rain, you can still enjoy it. If you are going to this villa, don't pack everything, because there is a laundry machine and a dishwasher. You can feel at home. Basically, if you want to do some laundry, that's not an issue. There is also a place where you can hang your wet clothes after laundry, so everything is in the villa. We didn't miss anything. I have to say that Giuseppe, who was our co-host of this trip, was very, very helpful, and he was responding to all our inquiries and requests. What I really like was the fact that the villa was far away from the main road and from the city center, so it was peaceful and quiet (with a small exception, see negatives). My daughter enjoyed the birds, cats, flowers, and overall nature.
The road to the villa is super narrow; we traveled with a VW Caravelle, and we made it through, but it was a bit stressful. Make sure you flip your side mirrors! Also, you have to be quite a good driver over there :) The place around the villa is quiet, and far away from the main roads, but, uphil there is a road which is sometimes used by buses and heavier cars, so they are honking on each corner. What I missed in the description in the comments was the fact that the villa is basically two floors, so you will live on the first floor. The ground floor is reserved for the host, and sometimes the host is also there, which we were not aware of. The host is very friendly and very helpful if you need anything. The pool is on the ground floor, and the jacuzzi is also there, which I think could be inconvenient for some people. One of the bedrooms has a bit of a noisy bed, which was quite uncomfortable for my parents-in-law, so they were a bit complaining about it. Also, the large cups for tea and spoons. I think there should be more of them, because it was only six of them, so every time we have to wash (washing in the dishwasher takes some time). Bear in mind that there are a lot of plants on the terraces, in both terraces. Every two days, somebody comes very early in the morning to water the flowers. If you are sensitive to noises around the night, that could be a problem for you. For me, it wasn't.

Authentic villa in the mountains with everything you need. Stunning views and quiet location. Steep hill when walking and small car required to get up the road. We used local transport to and from Sorrento to avoid the busy roads - local train 15 mins walk. Lots of fab restaurants in surrounding areas. Giuseppe and Mauro our hosts were simply amazing giving us fab recommendations and available for help throughout our stay. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival.
We loved it!

Our family had an unforgettable stay at Villa Antonella from April 26–30, 2026. From the moment we arrived, Giuseppe made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. After a very long day of travel, he met us at the subway station along with his brother, which was such a thoughtful and helpful gesture. They were both so kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and it immediately made us feel at ease. When we arrived at the villa, we were pleasantly surprised to find pasta, sauce, bread, tomatoes, bottled water, and a bottle of wine waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated after a long journey. The house itself was beautiful, very clean, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable for our family. The outdoor areas were especially wonderful. The pool was ready for us to enjoy, and my sister and nephew loved relaxing in the hot tub after long days of walking and sightseeing. The views were peaceful and tranquil, and there was a lovely seating area where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. Honestly, we only wish we had more time to simply relax and enjoy the villa itself. During our stay, we visited Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Capri, and the villa served as a beautiful and peaceful home base for our adventures. This was truly an unforgettable trip, and we are so grateful to Giuseppe and our hosts for their kindness, hospitality, and support throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend Villa Antonella and hope to return one day.
One important recommendation for future guests: transportation should be arranged ahead of time if you are not renting a car. That was probably the most challenging part of our stay. However, Giuseppe was extremely helpful and provided referrals for local drivers. We worked with Ana, who was incredibly reliable and coordinated several pickups and drop-offs for our family. She was especially wonderful with my elderly parents, and we always felt safe and well taken care of.
