    The property has lots of potentials. It has a decent location, a couple of minutes away from the night market, that is one Tuktuk ride away and 45 minutes away from the airport. It has a swimming pool and the water seems clean and regularly treated. The down side is that it has lots of moquitoes and the bathroom near the pool needs a renovation. Although the staff was friendly and helpful, I knew they could only do so much such as burn incense to keep mosquitoes away. Better bring your own citronella or insect repellent. The room was spacious enoygh to accommodate 2 people and has a bath tub. The lighting was just too dim and perhaps the bathroom needs a little decoration and lighting to make it more aesthetic. The TV was not working and the AC shuts down every 20 minutes. I hope they maintain the facilities and do a little renovation with the pool area, add shower area by the pool. Breakfast buffet had very limited options. Perhaps include more Cambodian food or delicacy in the menu. Overall, I am satisfied. The staff was excellent.

    I really like this hotel on Siem Reap, it is my 4th or 5th time there. The staff are really nice and friendly. The rooms are also spacious. Unfortunately, a new night club opened nearby and you can hear a very loud sound throughout the night, this made my night a bit rough. The breakfast is nice with egg station, but when there are many people, the kitchen staff does not refill things quick enough. Anyway, I am not sure I'll come back because of the night club noise 😢 will need to find a other option in Siem Reap.

    Overall, a really relaxing stay. The property, the room, the staff.. all great. Residence 1960 has a charm that is hard to come by. One heads up though, drivers find it a bit tricky to locate on the map. Not impossible, but you will want to pay close attention to navigation or look it up beforehand. (Take the road via Wat Bo and not the back area as that is not the most straightforward approach..) Once you find it, totally worth it. Would recommend, just do your map homework first.

    Cheap but likable A long way from town Holes in the linen, and lacking towels. Breakfast was eggs and noodles not inspiring at all. Ordered meals were excellent, obviously run on a budget and needs a revamp. Will only get worse
