The vacation rental, newly renovated and completely refurnished in 2021, features a spacious living-dining area—with a view of the lovingly landscaped garden and the sea (through the shoreline vegetation).

A high-quality sofa (sofa bed) adds coziness to the living area.

In the kitchenette—which has also been newly furnished and equipped (with an oven and dishwasher)—you can cook to your heart’s content.

The bedroom features a comfortable double bed. Blackout curtains ensure undisturbed sleep—accompanied by the gentle sound of the ocean.
There’s also plenty of room here for a crib.

Another bedroom/children’s room is furnished with two single beds.

There are 3 spacious closets available for your clothes (one in each bedroom and one in the hallway).

The bright, natural-light-filled bathroom (also renovated) with a shower and toilet welcomes you in the morning with warm towels. Then, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the sun at the (extendable) garden table on the balcony—a perfect start to the day.

All balconies are sheltered from the wind and face south toward the sea; in this apartment, they offer a beautiful view of the old town and the sea (thanks to the shoreline vegetation).

You’ll enjoy the sun on the lounge furniture (balcony)—finally reading in peace again—perhaps watching the beautiful sunset in the evening with a glass of wine. This way, you can quickly leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.

In our truly spacious garden—(for example, after a hike through the national park just a few minutes away, or a stroll along the harbor, or...)—the beach chairs typical of the Baltic Sea await you, as do a romantic daybed and a large barbecue area.

Of course, all apartments feature extra-large bathroom balconies (with wind protection) and offer a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea!*
Consul Wedding, one of Emperor Wilhelm’s closest advisors, had this magnificent villa built in 1876 as his summer home. (The chronicle states, “I want to build in the most beautiful spot in Sassnitz.”)
Today, following a complete renovation, you too can relax—just as Consul Wedding once did—in this still-idyllic corner of the world, enjoying the sea and the landscape.
At Villa AZUR, the guest always comes first. Special mention goes to the friendly and knowledgeable on-site hospitality provided by the Polley family, who are always on hand to assist you with insider tips for excursions and more.
Depending on your mood, there’s plenty of variety to choose from—for example, a walk on the beach (the beach is about a 5-minute walk down a flight of stairs) or a hike through the national park in pollution-free air (just a 2-minute walk away). If you’re in the mood for a stroll through town, you can reach downtown, the harbor, or the bakery in about 5–10 minutes.
In our beautiful, spacious garden (approx. 1,500 m²), you can relax wonderfully after such a full day, have a barbecue, or even smoke fish.
You can enjoy wellness treatments, for example, with a soothing chalk wrap at the Rügentherme.
*Depending on the season, the view of the Baltic Sea from the ground-floor apartments may be slightly obstructed by the vegetation along the shore.



!!! You are welcome to bring pets by prior arrangement.
Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted in Apartments No. 5 and No. 6.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out from midnight to 10:00 AM.
