If you are looking for finer dining with a casual atmosphere, you must visit Baxters or JB Hooks, located just over the bridge as well. The home was beautiful!! Our grandchildren as well as us adults enjoyed the pool area! We watched movies in the family room, played games and enjoyed the lake area! Our grandchildren said it was a “mansion”, and our sons told us it was one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. There were a few issues with some doors that were sticking so we avoided using them. All in all a great experience!

The main door out of the kitchen onto the deck needs to be repaired. The lower covered outdoor space was dirty - cobwebs everywhere and a lot of debris that could be easily cleaned up. I can appreciate that it’s an outdoor area and you will have debris and cobwebs but it wouldn’t hurt to make it a part of the cleaning plan. It looked like it hadn’t been touched in years. Parking was challenging - not able to park in garage so only room for 3-4 cars to park in driveway. When you have a homefor 14 people more than likely are going to have at least 4-6 cars. In the listing it says: “One car can park on gravel next to the shed” and we did that but were told by a neighbor that is their property and can not park there. Important info that needs to be removed from house info. The biggest issue was the upper level was HOT and not comfortable for sleeping. They had a few fans there but were very old and very very loud, again making it hard to sleep they were so loud. Outside of those few things the house was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the view for fireworks and the swimming pool was nice (there are a few loose tiles that need to be replaced) Nice kitchen for cooking and kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need for prep,cook,and serving.
