About this cabin rental

Come and spend a weekend relaxing by a fire or exploring the many restaurants and outdoor activities from this unique and tranquil cabin tucked away in the Berkshires. York Lake is 1 mile away, and Cookson state forest is located across the street with hiking and mountain bike trails available. Great Barrington is a quick 15 scenic drive away with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. Jacobs Pillow is a 25 min drive, and Ski Butternut is only 10 min down the road if you enjoy skiing!

Beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. However the heater in main part of the house only effectively heats the dining room and the upstairs. Living room and bathroom were very cold. Downstairs bedroom needs window shades for morning light and more blankets. The dishwasher was also broken during our stay and was not communicated to us by the host. The check out directions in the app also don’t match to the actual check out directions posted in the unit and the mailbox with the house number was broken and on the ground which made finding the house more difficult than it needed to be. The window screen in the kitchen window also had claw marks in it from a bear.
