Honestly, I was a bit unsure while booking this homestay, but trust me—it turned out to be a wonderful decision. Pamilya Homestay offers true core beauty and peace, exactly what you look for when visiting Cherrapunji. It’s not deep in the interior and is just about 1 km from the main market, making the location very convenient. Vincent was extremely helpful, kind, and polite, which made the stay even more comfortable. We also ordered food there—Maggi, omelette, and tea, and everything was simple, fresh, and very tasty. There’s also a shop right in front of the homestay, so getting daily essentials is easy. If I ever visit Cherrapunji again, I’ll stay here without a second thought. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and warm hospitality.

Yes, it’s not very luxurious, but you get almost all the necessary essentials—from a geyser and almirah to extension boards, so you can comfortably charge your phone right from your bed, which really matters when you’re traveling.
