Everything was exceptional. From the moment I landed at the airport until I departed for Singapore the following afternoon, every part of my stay exceeded my expectations. I was on my way to celebrate my birthday in Singapore and had a 24-hour layover in Kenya, so I needed a comfortable place to rest. The team made what could have been an ordinary transit stop into a memorable part of my birthday journey. They were warm, welcoming, and even allowed me the freedom to capture content and document my experience, which I truly appreciated. The facilities were spotless, the food offered an excellent variety of options, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone with a long layover in Kenya. They turned my transit into an unforgettable experience.

The Argyle is a very new building 10 mins by free shuttle from the airport. Our room was excellent. Very up to date. No aeroplane noise. The restaurant is buffet style. This is particularly useful in Africa as service can be slow. We thought this was good value for money.

The wine was very poor.

The lobby is beautiful and generally room was nice and modern. There was a free shuttle to the airport every hour which was great. The food we ordered for room service was very good!

The staff (most but not all) were not friendly and were generally unbothered and at times hostile. We were checked in by a staff member who ROLLED her eyes when we asked if any rooms were available on higher floors. We also ordered room service and our coke bottle still had the metal cap on, I noticed and asked the staff member to kindly remove the cap, she said she forgot the bottle top remover and will come back with it ….she never came back. Our TV wasn’t working and asked for it to be fixed, we were told by that same staff member someone will be on their way… nobody came. Went to reception the next day again after which it was sorted. Generally poor customer service, it seems like the staff hate their job and just don’t want to be there which really brings down the value of the hotel and is the main reason I don’t think the hotel is worth the price. All staff need training in customer service. This is a 5 star hotel but the customer service definitely does not reflect this. There was mould in shower of the bathroom, would not expect this from a ‘5 star’ hotel.
