Comfy and Contemporary One Bedroom Flat

The location of the property is excellent, just off the main street in Crouch End, which makes it very convenient for shops, cafés, etc while still feeling tucked away. The flat itself is nicely laid out, practical, and well-equipped with all the facilities we needed for a longer stay. The main living area is comfortable and functional. The WiFi connection in the living space was strong and reliable, which was especially helpful for work calls. However, the signal in the bedroom, where the desk is located, was noticeably weaker.

As other reviews have mentioned, noise is a significant issue at this property. If you’re sensitive to sound or specifically looking for a quiet place to stay, this may not be the right choice for you. You can hear virtually everything from the flat above. We stayed for almost three weeks, and for at least half of that time we were woken up either early in the morning or late at night. During the first few days, children were running around as early as 6am, which repeatedly disturbed our sleep. In the final week of our stay, there was frequent late-night noise from people returning home, and general commotion in the early hours. The front door to the flat does very little to block out sound, which adds to the issue. In addition, there is a courier sorting station directly outside the bedroom window. From early morning, we could hear packages being scanned and moved around, with the sound of parcels being dragged across the ground. Light sleepers will likely find this particularly disruptive. Overall, the flat may suit those who aren’t sensitive to noise, but the ongoing disturbances made it challenging for us. I would stay again for the location, though light sleepers may want to think twice.
