The house is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. It's clean and relatively updated.
This is likely a great ski cabin, but not a great house for summer. There's AC in only one room, and it's on the top floor, accessible only by a spiral staircase. The house was an oven the first day we arrived, and because we had to leave the windows open at night to cool it down, it was hard to sleep with the freeway noise so close by. A couple of little AC units in the bedrooms would solve this problem.
There are a lot of stairs in the house and that was challenging for my 81-year-old mom. Be advised.
I rent a house when I travel so I can take a break from restaurants. The pots and pans in the house were in really, really bad shape, and I'm sure we had some Teflon in what little food we ended up cooking. The hosts need to get some new cookware that doesn't poison their guests.
