Northstay - Tromsø City Hideout

The location was excellent, really central and a two minute walk form excursion pick up point. Loads of bars and restaurants very close. The apartment was lovely and warm and clean. It was furnished very well and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The only difficulty was the description of how to find our apartment once inside the building was a bit confusing and we ended up entering the code into about 4 different apartments before we found ours....a picture of the door with the Norwegian flag on it would have been really helpful.

The location was amazing. The department was clean and both sofa and bed were very comfortable. Temperature was very pleasant as well.

A lot of kitchenware was missing. There were no dishcloths, no oven tray rack, no oven mitt, no sponge, etc. There was also no oil, pepper, or salt, even though these were mentioned in the document provided.

Convenient location and cosy atmosphere. Very well-equipped kitchen and clean.

1. No microwave, which makes preparing quick meals inconvenient 2. The bedroom layout is poorly designed - a double bed has been squeezed tightly against the wall, meaning the person on the inside has to climb over the other to get out 3. The space allocation feels unbalanced - the lounge area is disproportionately large compared to the cramped bedroom, and the dividing wall could have been better planned 4. Shelves were dusty, and there were stains on the bed linen and towels 5. Access is difficult - reaching the first-floor apartment requires climbing two fairly steep sets of stairs (and more for higher levels), which is not ideal if you have heavy luggage 6. Rubbish disposal instructions were confusing - while sorting waste into different coloured bags was clear, it was not explained that all bags go into the same chute located across the road and behind another building. Once there, multiple chutes are not clearly labelled, making it unclear which one to use 7. Shower design is poor, with water easily leaking onto the bathroom floor
