A very nice, comfortable unit, in a fairly nice location.

Check-in was a nightmare! We had to park 600m from the room. We were told that an electric buggy would pick us up from the carpark but we waited a while and it didn't come, so we lugged our bags 600m in the heat. Then the agent told us that he needed immediate payment (every other place we stayed in Vietnam asked for payment on check-out). We didn't have enough cash on us and had intended on going to the ATM later. I asked him several time if we could just pay later but he refused. He said we could do a bank transfer and then changed his mind when I was half-way through (I think maybe he saw the $2000/day transaction limit on the screen and thought it was a 2000VND limit?). After we had some discussions about getting to the ATM (2.5km away), I asked him if he could take us to the ATM. He took us to the ATM and we payed for the accommodation but by the time this was sorted we'd wasted over an hour on check-in and it was too late to go to Ohayo Onsen (which was the whole purpose of booking the apartment). I contacted the host directly and she was very apologetic and arranged for me to go to a very basic little onsen place, which was open a bit later. It was OK but not what I came for.
