Coral Cottage Beach House @ Phang Nga

A lovely stay in a beautiful and calm area of the Thai Andaman coast. The cottage was right across from the beach, very well kitted out and with fantastic hosts. It's for those who want to experience the authenticity of Thailand, and to avoid the heavily touristed areas further south in Phuket. The hosts also were kind enough to take us to a supermarket on our first day to get some basic foods, and the beachside restaurants were authentic and walkable from the cottage. Highly recommend

Everything was great. I'd suggest getting your own transport, either rental car or scooter, if you want to roam around the area. The hosts are able to provide bikes and can offer advice on rentals, and the roads are very calm. Still, in order to head further into the Phang Nga region, a motorised vehicle of some kind is probably a good bet.

The Coral Cottage Beach House is perfectly located – the beach is just 1 minute away across the street, with a long, beautiful and quiet sandy beach. The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped: washing machine including detergent, clothesline, microwave, iron, hair dryer, large refrigerator, mosquito spray – everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is lovingly furnished, with two bedrooms and an additional bed on the veranda. Free bicycles, a terrace behind the house and a gas cooker complete the offer. The landlord is extremely kind and helpful and would have even driven us shopping for free. Every request was fulfilled. It couldn’t be better! Perfect for both short and long stays. We were here as a group of four (two couples) and would come back anytime. THANK YOU SO MUCH, TIM! X

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Great spot near the beach
