LA FINESTRA SUL MARE

Es handelt es sich nicht um ein Haus, sondern um eine kleine Wohnung in der 1. Erage (ca. 45qm). Es gibt ein normales Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und ein Kinderzimmer mit einem Einzelbett, das aber für einen (jungen) Erwachsenen ausreichend groß ist. Die Wohnung liegt in einer abgeschlossen Wohanlage direkt am Strand mit komplett eingerichteter Küche, die auch als Wohnraum dient, Parkplatz inkl. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, hat gute Betten und superfrische Handtücher. Sie wirkt allerdings optisch etwas "angestaubt" in Einrichtung und Deko. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für Ausflüge nach Otranto, Nardo oder Gallipoli ein guter STandort, nix für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

Die gesamte Anlage ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und dient wohl hauptsächlich Ortsansässigen als Fereienquartier im Sommer (Ferragusto). Der Strand ist nicht breit und leider nicht sehr gepflegt. Nach dem 15. September werden in dem kleinen Badeort buchstäblich "die Bürgersteige hochgeklappt". Es ist dann schwierig, ein geöffnetes Restaurant in einem der Nachbarorte zu finden. Einzig die Bäckerei im Ort dient als Grundversorger (sehr freundliches Personal!).

Toen we aankwamen hadden de hosts een fles wijn klaarstaan voor ons en allerlei lekkere zaken- glutenvrij en lactosevrij. Bij het afscheid kregen we nog een fijn aandenken. Super sympathieke mensen. Ook de omgeving was top, een leuke bar Miva op loopafstand en een restaurant waar je ook gluten en lactosevrij kon eten. Een super verblijf, waarvoor oprechte dank!

Le logement (très propre à notre arrivée)est situé face à la mer avec une vue exceptionnelle. Il suffit de descendre quelques marches pour se retrouver sur une grande plage familiale loin de la foule. La cuisine est très bien équipée largement pour 4 personnes. Le balcon est bien exposé de façon à pouvoir manger le midi à l’ombre. Tommaso et Giusy nous ont réservés un accueil chaleureux et sont toujours disponibles.

Pour information il faut absolument une voiture pour faire les courses. Il n’y a pas grand-chose à proximité.

We were met at the property by Tommaso, who was a delightful and welcoming host. He showed us everything about the apartment and how everything worked. He was kind enough to leave us a bottle of delicious Italian sparkling wine and local coffee which was very welcome. The view from the balcony was wonderful and the apartment is right by a lovely beach. While we were there, the weather changed and became incredibly windy but the balcony was completely sheltered and we didn't even feel the wind, even though it was almost gale force! I was concerned that we'd lose some of the outdoor furniture but nothing moved at all. There was a huge amount of storage space all over the apartment and we either had everything we needed in the kitchen or could think up a workaround (e.g. to boil water for tea). The bed and pillows were very firm and supportive. There were blackout blinds so it wasn't too bright in the mornings. We could even take the chairs and umbrella down to the beach which was really appreciated.

These are NOT complaints, just for info. The gap to get into the shower is quite snug, and the shower itself is very compact. Also, as you are right on the beach, just bear that in mind if you need absolute quiet to sleep. Because it was windy, the sea also became really loud and it was quite noisy inside.
