I came to stay while attending a work event at the USPTO. I was given a parking pass so I never had to move my car. I could walk everywhere I went. The host was great and responsive. The house was nice and clean and I had no issues with neighbors and/or street noise. Would recommend!

What we loved: the location! King street is a short stroll down the sidewalk with shopping and dining options galore (although we didn’t make time for that and spent most of our time in DC). Quick 20 minute walk to the metro which we took into DC the first day.Great communication with the owners, quick responses to questions.Beautifully decorated and very clean, with high end attention to detail with a nespresso machine and good quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner for guests. Comfy beds, GOOD towels and sheets.Not so good: the size. The pictures make it seem much larger than it is. The realtor listing says it’s smaller than 700 square foot so with two stories it did feel quite cramped for our family of 4 (with two teenage sons). The bathroom is possibly the smallest I’ve ever used so no room for getting ready whatsoever (and it’s the only bathroom). I felt very claustrophobic in there. Perhaps an addition in the courtyard for a second bathroom would help?Overall it is a perfect spot for no more than 2-3 smaller sized people (you will be very uncomfortable if you are above average size like me).
