About this house rental
A warm welcome to our family-friendly, exceptionally quiet home on the edge of the forest, offering a spectacular view of all of Villach!
Originally renovated and furnished for my own family, you and your family or friends will immediately feel right at home here.
The accommodation
The accommodation:
The house is spread over three levels. The main area you’re renting has its own completely private entrance. Agata and Julian, a young family with two children, live in the basement. They’ll serve as your co-hosts during your stay with us and are your first points of contact. They can also give you plenty of valuable tips about the surrounding area and things to do in the region.
Here’s what your exclusive 160 m² area of the house looks like:
You’ll be greeted by a spacious, open stairwell; right here is one of the three bedrooms with two bunk beds for 4 people—the main living room features a cozy tiled stove, a huge leather couch, a spacious dining area that seats at least
8 people, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and sink. You’ll also find a small, functional office nook in the front hall.
The open-flight staircase leads you to the first floor, where you’ll find the bathroom with a toilet, shower, sink, and a washing machine. There are also two spacious bedrooms, each with a large double bed.
Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. THANK YOU!
Guest Access
As previously mentioned, you’ll be staying in the entire main unit of the house—the first floor and the upper floor. You can park your vehicles in the double carport, which is protected from the elements.
You have your own private entrance that only you will use. Self-check-in via a key safe is also available if desired.
There’s also a private (unfenced) garden area that invites you to relax and unwind.
From the main level, you can step out onto the cozy, very large balcony terrace.
On the first floor, where the two bedrooms are located, you’ll also have direct access to a balcony from which you can enjoy the evening atmosphere or the sunset.
Additional Important Information
In the winter, your living space is primarily heated by the central, cozy tiled stove. During the transitional season and on particularly cold days, this is supplemented by an infrared electric heater.
We’ll, of course, provide you with wood for the tiled stove and instructions on how to heat it properly when you check in.
If that seems too much trouble or too complicated, or if you’d simply like to be pampered, you can book our on-site “heating service” as an add-on.
Last but not least:
Pets are very welcome here—however, there is an additional cleaning fee of 50 euros for dogs and cats. (Hamsters and tarantulas stay for free!)
